Second battle of Villers-Bretonneux

The Germans attack the lines held during the British 8th Division in an attempt to capture Amiens. The 8th Division is overwhelmed by the German attack and the village falls. Amiens is in real danger but General Rawlinson responds quickly and launched a night attack (24-25 April). The Germans are forced back and the troops in Villers-Bretonneux are isolated.
