The Wickes class destroyer USS Bell (DD-95) is launched at Quincy, Mass. She escorted convoys across the Atlantic late in the First World War, but entered the reserve in 1922 and was never recommissioned.

The Wickes class destroyer USS Lansdale (DD-101) is laid down at Quincy, Mass. She entered service in the last days of the First World War, serving in the Mediterranean in 1919, then as a minelayer in the 1920s.
