Fifth day of the pursuit to Mons, the final named British battle of the war on the Western Front

General Otto von Below is appointed commander of Home Defence West at Kassel. His main task is to prepare for a possible defence of Germany if armistice negotiations fail, but he spends more time dealing with left-wing revolution.

Felix Graf von Bothmer is appointed commander of Home Defences South in Bavaria.
