The Wickes class destroyer USS Bernadou (DD-153) is launched at Cramps. She wasn't commissioned until 1919, and spent most of the Second World War performing various escort duties in the Atlantic theatre, as well as taking part in Operation Torch, the invasion of Sicily and the Salerno landing.
