Battle of Neuve-Chapelle

Both sides plan to attack on 11 March, after the succesful British attack on the previous day. The German attack is postponed because one of the units fails to arrive in time. The British attack is cancelled because of fog.

War at Sea

HMS Venerable bombards the coast close to the Yser as part of moves to support the attack at Neuve-Chapelle.

Dardanelles

Minesweepers supported by HMS Amethyst are unable to make any progress. After this failure the civilian crews of the minesweepers are replaced with naval crews, but their first effort, on 14-15 March, is no more succesful.
