Allied Marines land and attempt to destroy the Krupp 240mm gun at Orhaniye and other guns at Sadd el Bahr. The demolition party is provided by HMS Lord Nelson and the landing is supported by a powerful fleet, including HMS Ocean. The Turks are ready for the attack and it is repulsed.
