War at Sea/ War in the Air
Aircraft from the seaplane carriers HMS Empress, HMS Engadine and HMS Riviera attack the German Zeppelin sheds at Cuxhaven. Nine aircraft take part in the attack. Only two manage to return to the carriers but the other crews are welcomed. The sheds escape damage but the battlecruiser Von der Tann is damaged in a collission in the Schillig Roads during the raid.
The escort forces include the cruisers HMS Arethusa and HMS Undaunted.
