Battle of Cambrai-St. Quentin

Allied successes earlier in the battle have forced the Germans to pull back to a new line running south from Cambrai. On this day the British Third and Fourth and French First Armies drive the Germans out of the new line.

This is officially designated as the first day of the Battle of Cambrai of 1918.
