War at Sea
HMAS Australia rejoins the Grand Fleet after repairs caused by her collision with HMS New Zealand. She rejoins the 2nd Battle Cruiser Squadron on 10 June.
The Germans make three attempts to capture Commandant Raynal's observation post during the underground warfare in Fort Vaux. Above ground the French launch a counterattack that briefly reaches the fort walls. but is then driven off.
