Offizierstellvertreter Klimke carries out the first night bombing raid over London, dropping five 12.5kg bombs from their Albatros C.V. This was an unauthorised mission, carried out just before the first official raid. Klimke was reprimanded but then moved to a bomber unit and took part in the night bombing campaign.
