Eighth Air Force Heavy Bomber Mission No. 108: 104 aircraft sent to attack industrial areas of Frankfurt and Wiesbaden, 51 to attack city of Frankfurt, 115 to attack industrial areas of Saarlautern and St. Dizier/ Robinson airfield, 53 to attack marshalling yards at Saareguemines and Saarbrucken and 38 on a diversionary sweep. 16 aircraft lost.
