The Northrop P-61H was the designation given to a version of the Black Widow night-fighter that would have had the four gun turret replaced by a large internal fuel tank that would have bulged up above the fuselage. None were produced, although a number of aircraft were given a similar fuel tank to allow them to be ferried across the vast distances of the Pacific, although in these cases the tank was removed on arrival.
