Curtiss Model 75J

The Curtiss Model 75J was the designation given to a single demonstrator aircraft when it was equipped with an external mechanical supercharger. This aircraft, c/n 12931 and civil registration NX-22028, had been built as a Model 75A demonstrator, owned by Curtiss but used by the US Army. It received the new designation when an external mechanical supercharger was added to its Pratt & Whitney R-1830 engine. The same aircraft later became the Model 75R.
