Curtiss XP-36F

The Curtis XP-36F was a single P-36A (38-172) that had a 23mm Madsen cannon mounted under each wing. It retained its standard nose armament of one .30in and one .50in gun. The cannon were soon removed and the aircraft reverted to the P-36A designation.
