Amiot 357

The Amiot 357 was to have been a high-altitude pressurized bomber based on the Amiot 350 family of twin engined aircraft. It was powered by two 1,200hp Hispano-Suiza 12Z turbo-supercharged engines to give it improved performance at high altitude. Construction got underway at La Bourget in the first half of 1940, and the prototype was nearly complete when the Germans captured the factory on 14 June.
