Leopold, Graf von Daun, 1705-1766

Austrian Field Marshal during the Seven Years War. Von Daun was one of the few generals to defeat Frederick the Great of Prussia, first at Kolin (1757), where he was outnumbered by the Prussians, at Hochkirk (1758), and at Maxen (20 November 1759), although he was defeated at Torgau (1760), despite having the numerical advantage.
