History

The 32nd Fighter Group (USAAF) was a short-lived group that formed part of the defence force for the Panama Canal. The group was activated in Panama on 1 January 1942. It operated a mix of aircraft from bases in the Canal Zone between then and 1 November 1943, when the group was inactivated.
