Acasta class HMS Sparrowhawk

Acasta class HMS Sparrowhawk
Here we see the Acasta class destroyer HMS Sparrowhawk, a short lived ship that was built in 1912 and sunk at Jutland in 1916. She has the standard lines of a British destroyer of the period, with a raised forecastle and small bridge structure. Note the awnings at the stern, suggesting this was a peacetime picture.
