General T. Blamey and General MacArthur
Here we see General Sir Thomas Blamey (left), the commander-in-chief of the Australian army and commander of Allied ground forces in the South West Pacific taking tea with General MacArthur (with tea cup), the supreme Allied commander in the area, somewhere on New Guinea during 1942. At this point MacArthur considered Blamey to the best of the Australian generals, but still largely ignored him later in the war.
