Mitchells and Marauders on USS Manila Bay (CVE-61)
Here we see the Casablanca class escort carrier USS Manila Bay (CVE-61) in August 1944 with a deckload of North American PBJ-1Ds Mitchells and Martin JM-1 Marauders onboard. If the date is correct these aircraft were being ferried from the United States to Pearl Harbor, which the Manila Bay reached on 31 August.
