The Martin JM was the US Navy designation for a number of B-26 Marauders acquired for use as trainers and target tugs. Two hundred and twenty five of the AT-23B/ TB-26C were designated as the JM-1 and 47 TB-26Gs became the JM-2. As with the Air Force trainers these aircraft had their guns and armour removed and replaced with target towing gear. A small number were turned into reconnaissance aircraft with the designation JM-1P.
