USS Helm (DD-388), Mare Island Navy Yard, 1942
Here we see the Bagley class destroyer USS Helm (DD-388) at the Mare Island Navy Yard on 25 February 1942. At this point extra anti-aircraft guns have been added behind the second main gun, but there is no sign of radar equipment yet.
