Morane-Saulnier M.S.229

The Morane-Saulnier M.S.229 was a version of the M.S.230 two-seat intermediate trainer that was produced for Switzerland during 1931. The M.S.230 was powered by a 250 Salmson 9Ab radial engine, while the M.S.229 was given a Hispano-Suiza 8Ac V-8 inline engine. Only two were produced, both in 1931. In the following year one was modified to use a Wright 9Qa radial.
