Morane-Saulnier M.S.200

The Morane-Saulnier M.S.200 was a parasol wing intermediate trainer produced in 1929 and tested but not adopted by the French navy. The M.S.200 was somewhat similar to the M.S.149, a basic trainer used by the French Navy during the first half of the 1930s, and that made its maiden flight in 1928.

Like the M.S.149, the M.S.200 had a swept-back 'autostable' parasol wing, and a fuselage, tail and landing gear similar to that of the M.S.130. It was powered by a 230hp Salmson radial engine, and made its maiden flight in 1929. The prototype was tested by the French Navy, but not ordered into production.
