Hawker Hunter F.G.A. Mark 78

The Hawker Hunter F.G.A. Mark 78 was the designation given to three Hawker Hunters sold to Qatar in 1969. These aircraft were provided by upgrading three F.6s to F.G.A.9 standard, and were delivered in December 1971. They were operated by RAF pilots on loan to Qatar, before being replaced by Dassault Alpha Jets. A single T.Mark 79 trainer was ordered in the same contract.
