The Albatros G.I was an unsuccessful four-engined bomber, developed during 1915-1916. Very little is known about it, although pictures show the four engines carried in nacelles mounted on the lower wing. The aircraft was developed during 1915 and made its maiden flight on 31 January 1916. It was judged to be a failure and no further work was carried out. Albatros moved on to the two-engined G.II and G.III bombers.
