HMS Orcadia (1916) was a repeat M class destroyer that briefly served with the Grand Fleet late in 1916 then with the Paravane Department and HMS Vernon at Portsmouth for the rest of the First World War.
The Orcadia was ordered under the Fourth War Programme of February 1915. She was laid down at Fairfield on 24 June 1915, launched on 26 July 1916 and completed on 29 June 1916.
1916
From November to December 1916 the Orcadia served with the 15th Destroyer Flotilla of the Grand Fleet
On 16 November the Orcadia collided with SS Bullmouth
1917
From January 1917 to February 1918 the Orcadia served with the Paravane Department at Portsmouth
1918
From April to December 1919 the Orcadia was attached to HMS Vernon, Portsmouth
On 6 May the Orcadia collided with a torpedo boat off Havre.
She was sold to be broken up in October 1921.
