Treaty of Dresden, 25 December 1745
Treaty that ended fighting between Austria and Prussia in the War of the Austrian Succession. Frederick II of Prussia acknowledged Francis I as Holy Roman Emperor in return for which he kept most of Silesia, taken from Austria during the war.
