History

The 335th Bombardment Group, USAAF, was a training unit that served in the United States during the Second World War.

The group was activated on 17 July 1942, equipped with the B-26 Marauder, and assigned to the Third Air Force. It served as a replacement training unit, preparing crews to join existing combat units. The group was inactivated on 1 May 1944.
