No.334 Squadron was a short-lived unit, formed from the Mosquito wing of No.333 Squadron after the end of the war in Europe. No.333 Squadron was a Norwegian squadron that had operated two wings - a Mosquito wing that served with the Banff strike wing and an anti-submarine warfare wing. On 30 May 1945 the Mosquito wing was formed into a separate squadron, No.334. On 8 June the new squadron moved to Norway, where on 21 November 1945 it became part of the Royal Norwegian Air Force.
