Marshal Zhukov signs German surrender, Berlin
Here we see Marshal Georgy Zhukov signing the final German surrender in Berlin very early on 9 May 1945. Zhukov presided over the final surrender ceremony as Stalin wanted an acknowledge of the role played by the Soviet Union in the victory.
