Formation of Yakovlev Yak-1s over Soviet Town
Here we see a formation of Yakovlev Yak-1s flying over an unidentified Soviet town. The Yak-1 was the best Soviet fighter when the Germans invaded, but had only just entered production, so only played a very minor part in the early battles.
