Loading Typhoon with anti-personnel bombs
Here we see a canister containing twenty six 20lb anti-personnel bombs being fitted to a Hawker Typhoon of the 2nd Tactical Air Force. These bombs were used to attack German troops without leaving craters that might have slowed down the Allied advance.
