Twin 4"/50 breech from USS Hovey (DD-208) or USS Long (DD-209)
Here we see the breech end of a twin 4"/50 gun, as used on a limited number of Clemson class destroyer, in this case either USS Hovey (DD-208) or USS Long (DD-209). Note the two stage interupted screw breeches, opening in opposite directions.
