Front view of T-40 Amphibious Tank
Here we see a front view of the Soviet T-40 amphibious light tank, showing us the smooth front plate that was designed to work as her bow when she was in the water. The turret is offset to the left, with the driver's position on the right, so the large open view port in the front of the superstructure must be for the commander when he wasn't in the turret.
