Here we see a T-34 Model 1943 being used to carry soldiers into battle, a standard Soviet tactic during the Second World War. The easiest way to identify this late production version of the T-34 is the sloped front of the turret with two 'cheeks' alongside the gun mantlet. Earlier versions had a more rounded front.
