Site of German Surrender, Berlin
Here we see the site of the final German surrender, signed early on 9 May 1945, at the former officer's mess of the Wehrmacht Pioneer's school at Karlshort, Berlin. At the time the building was being used as the HQ of the Soviet Military Adminisration in Germany, but it is now the German-Russian Museum.
