Supermarine Spiteful Mk.14 from front
This picture shows us Supermarine Spiteful F.Mk 14 (RB515), which was used as a trials machine. From this angle the front of the fuselage looks similar to later Griffon powered Spitfires, and the big changes to the wing are hidden.
