This view of the cockpit of the Sopwith Dolphin shows the controls, the fixed forward firing Vikers machine guns, and the frame of metal tubes that surrounded the cockpit and that were part of the structure of the upper wing. The two Lewis guns that could be carried to fire up at 45 degrees are missing, but their supports can be seen on the front tube.
