Sopwith 2.F1 Camel under Rigid Airship R.23

Here we see Sopwith Camel 2.F1 N6814 suspended below the Rigid Airship R.23 at Howden. The idea was to use the superior rate of climb of the airship to get the fighter up to the level Zeppelins were operating at, then released the fighter and allow it to attack. As this picture shows the combination did get into the air, but it isn't clear if any test launches of the Camel were ever tried.
