Here we see the single seat Sopwith B.1 bomber from the left-rear, showing the arrange of the two bay biplane wings, and the location of the single cockpit directly between the wings. This was done to improve the view forwards and down for bombing runs, but blocked the upwards view, potentially giving the pilot a danger blind spot.
