Damage to hanger of Ryuho, 1945
Here we see the damage caused to the hanger and flight deck of the Japanese carrier Ryuho by American naval aircraft in an attack near Kure on 19 March 1945. This picture was taken on 9 October 1945, and shows that the hanger had largely been cleared, but the deck was unrepaired.
