Princess Elizabeth visits Sea Scouts, 1944
Here we see Princess Elizabeth in a Sea Ranger uniform as she visited the National Sea Scout Exhibition at the London Scottish Drill Hall at Buckingham Gate, London on 18 April 1944. The Sea Scouts played an active part in the war effort, often working as coast watchers.
