Polish Troops take prisoner, Piedimonte
Here we see Polish troops of the Eighth Army taking a German prisoner who was found in a dugout in Piedimonte, four miles to the west of Cassino town. Piedimonte fell to the Allies on 26 May, after the Germans pulled out of Cassino during the fourth battle of Cassino.
