Plans of Scharnhorst Class Armoured Cruisers

Plans of Scharnhorst Class Armoured Cruisers
These plans show the two Scharnhorst class armoured cruisers, famous for their victory at the battle of Coronel and destruction at the battle of the Falklands. They were armed with eight 210mm (9.2in guns), four in twin turrets fore and aft and four at the corners of the citadel on the upper deck. They also carried six 150mm (5.9in) guns, three on each side of the citadel on the deck below the 210mm guns. The 88mm guns were scattered fairly evenly along the two sides of the ship.
