Plans of Maine Class Pre-Dreadnought Battleships
These plans show the Maine class pre-dreadnought battleships, the first American battleships to reach 18 knots. They were armed with four 12in guns in twin turrets and sixteen 6in guns, with ten in an upper deck battery, four above them in a forecastle battery two and two in upper deck casemates in front of the foreward 12in turret.
