Plans of Kaiser Pre-Dreadnought Battleships

Plans of Kaiser Pre-Dreadnought Battleships
These plans show the Kaiser class pre-dreadnought battleships, the first of the classic line of German pre-dreadnoughts. They were armed with four 240mm guns in twin turrets, with the forward turret two decks above the aft turret. They also carried eighteen 150mm guns, nine on each side. Seven of these were carried on the deck between the two main guns (the forecastle deck). Three of these guns were carried in turrets amidships, and four in casemates (two fore and two aft, with the forward gun in front of the forward 240mm turret). The last two were on the same deck as the rear 240mm turret, one fore and one aft.
