Piper L-4 Grasshopper over scenic valley
Here we see a Piper L-4 Grasshopper flying over a scenic valley, almost certainly soemwhere in Italy judging by the nature of the scenary and the visible buildings. This picture gives us a really clear view of the extensively glazed cockpit, which stretched back well behind the wing. The pilot gives a good idea of the scale of these small aircraft.
