Leipzig after German Surrender
Here we see the Leipzig class cruiser Nurnberg moving from Copenhagen to Wilhelmshaven after the German surrender. On either side we see Liberators from RAF Coastal Command providing an escort. After her surrender the Nurnberg went to the Soviet Union, entering service as the Admiral Makarov.
