Martin B-10 at Manila, 1937
Here we see a Martin B-10 bomber at an airfield near Manila in 1937. When it was introduced the B-10 was a very advanced design, with its powered turret and top speed better than most fighter aircraft. In the background are a pair of Thomas-Morse O-19 observation aircraft, looking like a design from a much earlier period.
